Abstract
Impacts and Results of Reforms in the Russian Foreign Policy
Reforms targeted to make an alteration and transformation
in the basic structure of the Soviet Union are in the
quality of reconfiguring the social structure, inner policy
and economy. Alterations and configurations in the domestic
policy has also an effect on foreign policy . The aim of
this study is to analyze the political, economic and sociocultural
atmosphere in the extent of the reforms that the
Russia is situated after the USSR period and to realize a
thorough analysis of the course directing and figuring the
Russian thought in this period. The general condition of
Russia in the pre-Gorbachev era and the characteristics
and effects of the reforms exercised during the Gorbachev
era are analyzed. Consequences of these reforms in the
domestic and foreign policy are interpreted.<
