Abstract
Aşık Veysel in the Turkic World
Aşık Veysel is an important figure among the 20th century Turkish minstrels and an outstanding thinker. His fame reached Azerbaijan and some important studies were done for him. This influence in Azerbaijan is to be studied within a perspective from Yunus Emre to Tufarganlı Abbas. It seems philosophical influence of Aşık Veysel has encompassed some contemporary Azerbaijani poets.<
